SORRY

I havent updated this since April :/

Charlie is doing great. You would never know he was sick. I love this dog so much, hard to believe he is already 4 months! He now knows sit, stay, shake, other hand, which hand is the treat in, lay down, roll over, gimme ten, and we are working on come. He is the perfect dog (:

Home is where the heart is

AND THE CHARLIE :D Charlie decided he was hungry today so he just started eating! He just got tired of that cold little parvo room and decided it was time to come home! He ate a lot of food and kept it down so we got to bring him home. This is the best day of my life, I don’t think I have ever been happier! I would write more but I need to go play with my little miracle puppy!

Protein is good for you

Charlie is doing MUCH better today thanks to the protein from last night. He was walking around and he just seemed much more lively. The vet told us that he had only spit up 2 times today, and he ALMOST ate a treat that I brought him. I decided to leave him my hoodie because it smells like me and it might make him more comfortable. As soon as he eats something and keeps it down, he will be allowed home so lets keep praying that he will get an appetite! His white blood cell count is up to 4 which is absolutely amazing considering it was only .6 on Saturday (below 1 normally means they’re goners)! Please just keep him in  your prayers, we know he can do it!

Day 7, looking better (:

Day 6

I went to visit Charlie today with my Mom and my Brothers. We sat with him for a while, he threw up about 4 times but it was just bile because he hasn’t eaten anything since Wednesday. He was very low on protein so they gave him some today, hopefully that will help. He was very skinny and fragile, but he walked around a little and he looked a little better. He is still my little Charlie, he tried to tunnel in between 2 crates, and he still came straight to my lap when we set him down. Around 5 the Doctor called and so far the protein isn’t making any change, he is still vomiting a ton. Poor baby, I love that dog. We are really pulling for him, I know he can do it. Please keep praying.
